Hi, I'm Lucky and I am going to be your tour guide during this series of blog post featuring a new place opening soon in Second Life. Before we get started with this tour, let me tell you a little about this suit I am wearing. This red striped suit is an excellent creation by
Mishmash Fusion. I think its a great choice to showcase this awesome place in this opening post. Guys, you can find this suit in an additional side hunt maze for the
Twisted Hunt (runs till April 5th) at the Mishmash Fusion mainstore. To find the maze, head to the east side of the courtyard and walk into the blue TARDIS console (phone booth). There are gifts for both the guys and ladies in this maze. Ladies, drag your guy along with you on this hunt, even if he hates hunts, because he won't want to pass this suit up. Okay, now that you've picked up your gifts, lets get on with the tour.
So, what is this place you might ask? Well now, you're in for a big surprise aren't you. Think of a new living experience in Second Life built upon the idea of bringing you luxury living at affordable prices. With the help of one of Second Life's most well known designers, they have successfully managed to put together a city made entirely of mesh components. Now if that don't tell ya something, then I don't know what will. You've got a management team focused on giving you a wonderful living experience while at the same time keeping that living experience up-to-date with Second Life's technological advances. I know, I know, "Lucky, come on, just tell me what this place is called so I can go see it finally!" <insert drumroll here>
I'd like to introduce you to Vega City. Vega City is the idea of Ggio Vega. "It's kind of my way of making a statement. Second Life can still be an enjoyable place with standards." says Ggio.

Vega City Director and CEO. He with the help of
Kaerri Rae of
Kaerri Designs have managed to put together this completely mesh city making its Grand Opening on March 28th. There are a lot of things to do and a lot of things to feature for this awesome city, so I want to break it all up into a series of blog posts. In this post, I want to feature the shopping area.
Conveniently located in the center of the city, you will find the shopping square. There are ten different shops here packed with quality items. Check out the list of designers as of March 25th:

The shops feature items ranging from apparel to jewelry to home & garden, so you've got a good range of things to choose from.
So you've been shopping for a good while now, right? Why not take a break at the patio bar? It's not too far of a walk from the far end of the square, so sit back, relax, and grab a drink. When you're all done, just head back over to the shops and pick back up where you left off.
As you can see, there's plenty to do in just the shopping square alone. Now, the shopping experience isn't the main focus of Vega City, but it is a perk. Stay tuned for future posts as I will focus on the living experience next. In the meantime, feel free to check out the following from Vega City:
