Le Petit Bistro
Nestled at the edge of the forest is a quaint little place to relax and grab a cup of coffee. What is this place you may ask? Well, its Le Petit Bistro.
Le Petit Bistro by Serenity Style will be at The Gacha Mania event until March 15th. At L$70 per play, you have the possibility to receive any of the 8 common items and 1 rare item.
The trees in the pictures are by Little Branch. Little Branch has two sets of trees out right now at two separate events, so please do stop by both and check them out. The first set will be at Cosmopolitan until March 2nd and the second set will be at The Fantasy Collective until March 13th. All items are priced at L$386.

A Hard Day's Work
After mixing and matching items from two of Kaerri's furniture sets, I came up with this simple, yet warm and inviting living room setup. The textures and materials used within these items are outstanding, which makes them look quite realistic. As you can see from the above picture, the couch looks extremely comfortable. The Ship of Dreams

It will be 103 years this April that many men and women boarded a ship bound for New York. Most of these men and women didn't make it. The Ship of Dreams, R.M.S. Titanic, was considered unsinkable at the time of its creation. We all know that sadly wasn't the case. The ship now sits at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Time and the elements will eventually deteriorate the remains of the ship. While it will soon be gone, the memories will not be forgotten.
When I ran across this suit at The Mens Dept., the product image made me think of it as being from the early 1900s. So I set off on my journey to find the perfect spot to set up my scene for this post. I have always been fascinated with the history of Titanic, so that was my first choice for this blog post. I also started playing with the idea of Paris 1900, but eventually settled back on my original Titanic idea, clearly.
We, the people of Second Life, are very fortunate to have such great content creators. I'm sure most of you have been to the Titanic sim, but it is a must see if you have not. Be sure to have some formal wear ready for your visit, as it is a requirement. Do you remember in the James Cameron film where Jack and Fabrizio are standing at the front of the ship and Jack shouts, "I'm the King of the world!"? I tried to recreate that scene in the image to the left. How did I do?
Not everything in this ship is historically accurate, as it is basically set up as a club/mall kind of deal. You have the ballroom at the rear deck of the ship and scattered throughout are various shops for you to browse through. You do get several areas set up just as they were in the real ship. You have to check out the grand staircase, it is very accurate if you ask me. 
So the next time you are out looking for a place to explore, please go check out the R.M.S. Titanic sim. You won't be disappointed!

I Bless the Rains Down in Africa
Hi guys! Today we're going on an African safari! I've never been to Africa or a safari in my real life, but I have been to a drive-thru type wildlife park. I know, I know, not the same thing! It was still a fun experience nonetheless. That's one of the great things about Second Life. You can experience things you may not be able to do in your real life, such as going on this safari!
Hmm...Let's see here. I had to do quite a bit of searching to find just the right items to pull this outfit together. I sure am glad I found what I did though, because I feel they make for an excellent safari outfit! The shorts and shirt colors match better than I had anticipated them to. You can buy the shorts in a multi-color bundle from Redgrave, but you can only get the olive color I have used in this outfit though an outfit bundle (link in Style Card). I do need to point out that the shirt does not come with the undershirt - it's a separate item. The undershirt is totally optional. If you want to show some skin, just leave it out.
I ran across some excellent quality items to make for an awesome African savanna backdrop! The grass, trees, lions, and elephants are by ~*Sweet Revolutions*~ and the gazelle is by Harshlands. They look so realistic, I had to double check to make sure the lions weren't going to pounce on me while I had my back turned on them, haha. Please feel free to check out these content creators. Whether you're looking to set up your own African savanna or something else, they have a good variety of items to choose from.
